(17:20:22) iowamesonet: For those of you just joining us, here are aerial photos taken by Chuck Myers with John McLaughlin of Bradgate and near Rofle http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/pickup/040521/
(17:20:38) iowamesonet: look at the P*.jpg photos
(17:23:09) john_mcweather: What we found mirrored the radar shear mosaic last night. a broad circulation west of rolfe with a short lived F-1 marginal F02, then a second long track tornado that started on the west side of the town and continued through bradgate to 3/4 mile east of 169 with slight north turn as it weakened. large circulation up to .6 nm but overall F-1 to F1.5 in my opinion. wait till we here from jeff and brenda who were on the ground.
(17:25:33) nwsdmx2: Jeff agrees with that assessment. Spot F2 damage.
(17:27:01) nwsdmx2: Mainly F1.
(17:27:31) nwsdmx2: PNS should be issued within the next few hours. We got the info from Chuck.
(17:29:04) john_mcweather: okay, looks like the main storm was about 16.2 mile length. chuck has exact coord. going to grab some chow and head back to work. talk to you tonight
(17:31:21) nwsdmx2: John, if you are there, are your GPS coordinates projection assumed? like UTM?
(17:31:38) nwsdmx2: we are trying to plot the points in GIS...and need to know what paralax errors there are.
(17:33:38) iowamesonet: What are the values?
(17:34:19) iowamesonet: just a sample value, I can guess the projection
