The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  East-central Oklahoma



* Effective this Thursday night from 600 PM until Midnight CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2.5 inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Severe thunderstorms over central Oklahoma will track

northeastward across the watch area this evening, posing a risk of

large hail and isolated tornadoes.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles

east and west of a line from 20 miles north northeast of

Bartlesville OK to 40 miles east southeast of Ardmore OK. For a
