The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central and eastern Indiana

  Western Ohio



* Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 810 PM

  until 200 AM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...A linear complex of storms across west-central Indiana

early this evening will likely to continue to somewhat expand in

size as it continues east-southeastward this evening. Damaging winds

will be the main concern, but some peripheral severe hail will be

possible and a brief tornado cannot be entirely ruled out especially

near the warm front.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35

statute miles north and south of a line from 35 miles south

southwest of Lafayette IN to 90 miles east of Indianapolis IN. For a
