The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  West Texas



* Effective this Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning from 255 PM

  until 200 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Isolated storms this afternoon should increase in coverage

this evening with a cluster of storms likely developing. Scattered

large hail and isolated severe wind gusts will be possible through

tonight.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75

statute miles east and west of a line from 60 miles north northwest

of San Angelo TX to 115 miles southwest of San Angelo TX. For a
