The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Western and central North Dakota



* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 335 PM until

  1100 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Storms will develop along a slow-moving cold front over

western North Dakota by early evening. These storms should evolve

quickly into a line and progress east into central North Dakota

around sunset. Damaging winds and large hail are the main hazards.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75

statute miles east and west of a line from 55 miles north northwest

of Minot ND to 75 miles southwest of Bismarck ND. For a complete
