The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Far Northeast Colorado

  Northwest Kansas

  Southwest Nebraska



* Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 1040 PM

  until 200 AM MDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter

    possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...A supercell ongoing across far Northeast Colorado at late

evening and/or additional development will move generally eastward

through the overnight across the Tri-state region. Large hail is the

main concern.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles northwest of

Imperial NE to 70 miles south southwest of Imperial NE. For a

tornadoes.
