The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  eastern Kansas



* Effective this Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning from 515 PM

  until 100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely



SUMMARY...Storms will continue developing southeast through eastern

Kansas this evening with both supercell and bowing segments

possible. Threat will exit for large hail, damaging wind and at

least a couple of tornadoes.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles

north and south of a line from 40 miles southwest of Hutchinson KS

to 50 miles north northeast of Chanute KS. For a complete depiction
