The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Western Nebraska

  Far southwestern South Dakota



* Effective this Sunday afternoon from 500 PM until Midnight CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...A lone, long-lived supercell near the Black Hills has

recently weakened, but several other storms will develop to its east

and southwest. A southeastward-moving cluster is anticipated this

evening with a mix of severe hail and wind possible.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75

statute miles east and west of a line from 70 miles west of North

Platte NE to 65 miles northeast of Chadron NE. For a complete
