The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central North Dakota



* Effective this Wednesday afternoon from 440 PM until Midnight

  CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms are forming along a boundary across central

North Dakota.  These storms will intensify and move slowly eastward

through the late afternoon and evening hours.  More robust

development is expected to occur after dark across the watch area.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles north and south of a line from 60 miles west southwest

of Bismarck ND to 50 miles east of Jamestown ND. For a complete
