The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southeast Texas

  Coastal Waters



* Effective this Saturday morning from 1255 AM until 500 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Squall line with a history of strong to locally severe

wind gusts will likely persist east into southeast Texas before

weakening towards dawn.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles north and south of a line from 80 miles west of

Angleton TX to 30 miles north northeast of Galveston TX. For a
