The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Parts of central and southern Wisconsin

  Lake Michigan



* Effective this Tuesday afternoon from 550 PM until Midnight

  CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75

    mph likely

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms developing along a cold front moving into

west central Wisconsin will continue to expand eastward and move

east-southeastward through early tonight.  The storm environment

will favor a mix of clusters/bowing segments, and perhaps an

embedded supercell early in the storm evolution.  Damaging winds and

large hail will be the main threats.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65

statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles south of Camp

Douglas WI to 35 miles south of Manitowoc WI. For a complete

tornadoes.
