The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central and eastern North Dakota



* Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 520 PM until

  1100 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Multiple clusters should develop northeast from

north-central South Dakota across parts of south-central into

eastern North Dakota through this evening. Scattered severe hail and

wind will be possible.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70

statute miles east and west of a line from 65 miles southeast of

Bismarck ND to 30 miles east northeast of Devils Lake ND. For a
