The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Far southwest Arkansas

  Far northwest Louisiana

  North-central and northeast Texas



* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 1235 PM

  until 700 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Scattered storms developing along a cold front will

progress east this afternoon with primary hazards of large hail and

damaging wind.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 85

statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles east northeast

of Paris TX to 50 miles southeast of Waco TX. For a complete
