The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central Oklahoma

  Western North Texas



* Effective this Thursday night from 745 PM until Midnight CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts

    to 75 mph possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2.5 inches in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Severe thunderstorms continue to affect parts of central

Oklahoma and western north Texas.  While the tornado threat has

diminished, there remains a risk of a isolated tornado or two, along

with damaging winds and large hail in the strongest cells.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65

statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles west northwest

of Ponca City OK to 55 miles southeast of Wichita Falls TX. For a

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
