The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  West central Texas



* Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 745 PM

  until 300 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Isolated severe thunderstorms will remain possible across

the watch area this evening and into the overnight period, with a

few cells capable of large hail and tornadoes.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles

east and west of a line from 35 miles north northwest of Abilene TX

to 60 miles southeast of San Angelo TX. For a complete depiction of
