The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central and southeastern Oklahoma



* Effective this Sunday morning from 410 AM until 1100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated significant damaging wind gusts to 75 mph possible

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Clusters of severe thunderstorms are expected to persist

beyond the time duration of the replaced watches, as well as moving

farther southeastward across parts of central (and perhaps

southeastern) Oklahoma.  Damaging gusts and large hail are possible.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles north of

Chandler OK to 45 miles south southeast of Mcalester OK. For a

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

tornadoes.
