The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northeast Iowa

  Southeast Minnesota

  Southwest Wisconsin



* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 330 PM

  until 900 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Widespread damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts

    to 75 mph possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2 inches in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...A fast-moving bow echo over southern MN will track across

the watch area late this afternoon, posing a threat of damaging wind

gusts and perhaps hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35

statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles southwest of

Rochester MN to 125 miles east southeast of Rochester MN. For a
