The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  much of Nebraska



* Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 610 PM

  until 100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Strong/locally severe storms will continue spreading

southeast out of South Dakota and across Nebraska this evening,

accompanied by risk for locally damaging winds and large hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55

statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles south

southwest of Valentine NE to 35 miles north northeast of Lincoln NE.
