The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  southeast Kansas

  north central and northeast Oklahoma



* Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 645 PM

  until 200 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts

    to 80 mph possible

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Storms developing along a cold front and

southward-advancing outflow boundaries will pose a risk for damaging

wind and hail as they develop through southeast Kansas and north

central through northeast Oklahoma this evening.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75

statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles north

northwest of Enid OK to 45 miles east southeast of Chanute KS. For a
