The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Northern Wisconsin

  Lake Superior



* Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 400 PM until

  1000 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events

    to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms developing over eastern MN will track across

the watch area and pose a risk of large hail and isolated tornadoes.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles

north and south of a line from 75 miles northwest of Eau Claire WI

to 20 miles northeast of Rhinelander WI. For a complete depiction of
