The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  East Central Kansas

  West Central Missouri



* Effective this Thursday night and Friday morning from 940 PM

  until 300 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms capable of large

hail and damaging winds will continue to be a threat across the

watch area for a few more hours this evening.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles east of Saint

Joseph MO to 55 miles south southeast of Olathe KS. For a complete
