The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Parts of east central and southeast Colorado



* Effective this Saturday afternoon and evening from 550 PM until

  1000 PM MDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Storm mergers and new storm development could lead to some

upscale growth into a little larger cluster this evening, with

attendant threats for large hail and damaging winds.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles northwest of

La Junta CO to 45 miles northeast of Lamar CO. For a complete
