The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  North Central Nebraska



* Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 800 PM

  until 100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A line of thunderstorms will track eastward across the

watch area this evening, posing a risk of large hail and locally

damaging thunderstorm winds.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40

statute miles north and south of a line from 55 miles west northwest

of Mullen NE to 40 miles east southeast of Ainsworth NE. For a
