The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southeast Minnesota



* Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 410 PM until

  1000 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms forming over south-central MN will pose a

risk of large hail and damaging winds during the next few hours.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40

statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles east northeast

of Saint Cloud MN to 30 miles south southeast of Mankato MN. For a
