The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Northwest Arkansas

  Southwest Missouri



* Effective this Thursday night and Friday morning from 1100 PM

  until 300 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts

    to 80 mph possible

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A fast-moving bow echo over eastern Oklahoma will track

northeastward across the watch area, posing a risk of relatively

widespread damaging wind gusts.  Isolated tornadoes may also occur

along the leading edge of the line.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles

north and south of a line from 20 miles west of Fayetteville AR to 5

miles east southeast of Harrison AR. For a complete depiction of the
