The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  South-central and southwestern Louisiana

  Southeast Texas

  Coastal Waters



* Effective this Monday morning and afternoon from 145 AM until

  100 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes possible



SUMMARY...The lingering threat for supercells and a few tornadoes

with Harvey is slowly shifting eastward as its path curves back

toward the middle Texas coast, and is forecast by NHC to shift

further eastward through today.  Relatively stable air away from the

coast will continue to limit the inland extent of the risk through

midday.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 85 statute miles

east and west of a line from 35 miles north northeast of Port Arthur

TX to 45 miles south southeast of Lake Charles LA. For a complete

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for

tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch

area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for

threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements

and possible warnings.
