The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  South central into northeastern Nebraska



* Effective this Monday night from 800 PM until Midnight CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Ongoing storms along a stalled front will continue for the

next few hours, with a threat for large hail and damaging gusts with

embedded supercells.  There should be a gradual transition to more

widespread storms and a diminished severe-storm threat by about

midnight.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles east northeast

of Norfolk NE to 50 miles south of Kearney NE. For a complete
