The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Northwest Arkansas

  Southeast Kansas

  Southwest Missouri



* Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 1220 PM until

  800 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible



SUMMARY...Line of showers and embedded thunderstorms may intensify

across the Ozarks this afternoon. Low-level rotation may be

sufficient to yield a couple brief tornadoes along with strong wind

gusts.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles

east and west of a line from 60 miles southeast of Fayetteville AR

to 75 miles north northwest of Springfield MO. For a complete
