The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Eastern Kentucky

  Southern and central Ohio

  Western West Virginia



* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 235 PM until

  900 PM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms will develop by late afternoon and

spread east, likely consolidating into a line near the West Virginia

and Ohio border area in the evening. All hazards are possible, but

scattered damaging winds and a few tornadoes are the main threats.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles

east and west of a line from 30 miles southeast of London KY to 5

miles northeast of Columbus OH. For a complete depiction of the
