The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Parts of central and southeast Texas



* Effective this Wednesday morning from 730 AM until NOON CST.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms are expected to intensify some this morning

along a surface front moving eastward from central toward east Texas

by midday.  The storm environment along the front favors a mix of

supercells and bowing segments with an attendant threat for large

hail and damaging winds.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50

statute miles north and south of a line from 30 miles north

northeast of Lufkin TX to 50 miles south of Waco TX. For a complete
