The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northeast Colorado

  Northwest Kansas

  Southwest Nebraska



* Effective this Thursday afternoon and evening from 200 PM until

  900 PM MDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...A cluster of thunderstorms over northeast Colorado will

likely intensify and build eastward this afternoon and evening

across the watch area.  The stronger cells will pose a risk of large

hail and damaging wind gusts.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 80

statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles north northeast

of Imperial NE to 20 miles southeast of Goodland KS. For a complete
