The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Extreme southeast Arkansas

  Northeast Louisiana

  West central Mississippi



* Effective this Saturday morning from Midnight until 600 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Squall line with embedded bowing segments across northern

Louisiana should persist through the early morning hours with a risk

for damaging gusts.  A tornado or two may also occur with embedded

circulations in the line, primarily near or west of the Mississippi

River.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles north northeast

of Greenville MS to 5 miles west southwest of Alexandria LA. For a
