The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Northeast Colorado

  Far northwest Kansas

  Western Nebraska



* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 135 PM until

  900 PM MDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Storms will likely increase in number along a nearly

stationary front across northeast Colorado into western Nebraska.

Environment is supportive of a couple rotating cells that will pose

a tornado risk, along with isolated severe wind and hail.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles

east and west of a line from 60 miles southeast of Akron CO to 90

miles northeast of Sidney NE. For a complete depiction of the watch
