The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central and southern Arkansas

  Far southeast Oklahoma

  Northeast Texas



* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 455 PM until

  1100 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible



SUMMARY...A line of strong to isolated severe storms should spread

east with additional backbuilding possible to the southwest this

evening. Damaging winds are the primary hazard.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55

statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles west northwest

of Paris TX to 5 miles east northeast of Pine Bluff AR. For a

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce

tornadoes.
