The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Western Lower Michigan and part of eastern Upper Michigan

  Lake Huron

  Lake Michigan

  Lake Superior



* Effective this Sunday evening from 635 PM until 1000 PM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A line of storms will cross Lake Michigan and move into

western Lower Michigan and eastern Upper Michigan over the next few

hours.  The storm environment will favor a threat for damaging

outflow winds with the stronger embedded storms/line segments for

the next few hours.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40

statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles north of

Pellston MI to 45 miles south southwest of Muskegon MI. For a

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

tornadoes.
