The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Far northeast Kansas

  Southeast Nebraska



* Effective this Thursday night from 740 PM until Midnight CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 60 mph possible



SUMMARY...Several thunderstorms will spread northeast across the

region this evening. Severe hail is the primary threat through

midnight.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles south of

Beatrice NE to 40 miles north of Lincoln NE. For a complete
