The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Western North/West-central Texas



* Effective this Sunday morning from 230 AM until 900 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A well-organized line of storms will continue and

potentially further accelerate southeastward across the Texas Big

Country overnight, likely impacting the I-20 corridor over the next

several hours. Damaging winds will the primary threat, although some

severe hail is possible as well.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles north and south of a line from 75 miles northeast of

Brownwood TX to 45 miles north northwest of San Angelo TX. For a

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

tornadoes.
