The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Southern Oklahoma

  North Central Texas



* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 235 PM

  until 900 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible

  Widespread large hail and scattered very large hail events to 3

    inches in diameter likely

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely



SUMMARY...Thunderstorms are expected to intensify along a dryline

and track across the watch area this afternoon and early evening.

Supercell storms capable of very large hail and a few tornadoes are

possible.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 80 statute miles

east and west of a line from 45 miles north northeast of Ardmore OK

to 10 miles southeast of Dallas TX. For a complete depiction of the
