The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southwest Oklahoma

  Northwest Texas



* Effective this Saturday night and Sunday morning from 935 PM

  until 200 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Thunderstorm clusters will continue spread eastward across

northwest Texas and southwest Oklahoma into the early overnight

hours, with additional storm development possible in southwest

Oklahoma with outflow boundary mergers.  A few damaging gusts will

be the main threat, along with isolated large hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles east and west of a line from 25 miles east northeast

of Clinton OK to 95 miles south southwest of Wichita Falls TX. For a

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

tornadoes.
