The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Western Arkansas

  Far southeast Oklahoma

  Northeast Texas



* Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 845 PM

  until 200 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80

    mph likely

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Squall line with embedded bowing structures will likely

spread east-southeast from eastern Oklahoma. Damaging winds will be

the primary hazard.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles east and west of a line from 35 miles east northeast

of Fayetteville AR to 50 miles south southwest of Texarkana AR. For
