The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Central Alabama



* Effective this Monday morning from 425 AM until 1100 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...A squall line will continue eastward through the morning

across central Alabama, with a primary risk for occasional damaging

winds in bowing segments.  As the low levels moisten northward into

central Alabama through the morning, an isolated tornado could occur

with embedded circulations in the line.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 85

statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles north of

Montgomery AL to 40 miles south southwest of Selma AL. For a
