The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Far northeast Colorado

  Far northwest Kansas

  West-central Nebraska



* Effective this Tuesday evening from 605 PM until 1100 PM MDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...A cluster of storms will continue to move northward this

evening across central Nebraska, with other storms move

northeastward across northwest Kansas and western Nebraska, aided by

a low-level upslope regime. Isolated instances of large hail and

locally damaging winds will be possible through the evening.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75

statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles west northwest

of Burwell NE to 60 miles southwest of Mccook NE. For a complete
