The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Western Upper Michigan

  Northern and central Wisconsin

  Lake Superior



* Effective this Sunday afternoon from 345 PM until Midnight CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A line of strong to isolated severe storms over northwest

Wisconsin should move east through this evening. Damaging winds will

be the main hazard.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70

statute miles either side of a line from 15 miles west northwest of

Houghton MI to 30 miles southeast of Mosinee WI. For a complete
