The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Tornado Watch for portions of

  Missouri



* Effective this Tuesday night from 620 PM until Midnight CST.



* Primary threats include...

  A couple tornadoes possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Storm coverage will increase from an initial supercell

over far southwest Missouri. Multiple supercells should develop

within a broken band and rapidly progress northeast through the

central and northeast portions of the state this evening.



The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles

east and west of a line from 60 miles south southeast of Springfield

MO to 75 miles north northeast of Columbia MO. For a complete
