The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northeast Nebraska



* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 545 PM until

  1000 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A cluster of severe storms will continue to spread

south-southeastward into northeast Nebraska through this evening.

The stronger storms in the cluster will continue to pose a threat

for a few damaging gusts and large hail, before the storms weaken by

late evening.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50

statute miles east and west of a line from 55 miles north of Norfolk

NE to 25 miles southeast of Norfolk NE. For a complete depiction of

tornadoes.
