The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  A small part of northwestern Minnesota

  Eastern North Dakota



* Effective this Friday morning from 200 AM until 700 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A squall line in central North Dakota will continue to

move generally eastward through the early morning hours, with the

threat for occasional damaging gusts and marginally severe hail

before the storms weaken after moving into western Minnesota toward

sunrise.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65

statute miles east and west of a line from 60 miles north northeast

of Devils Lake ND to 70 miles south southeast of Jamestown ND. For a
