The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  West-central Indiana



* Effective this Saturday night and Sunday morning from 745 PM

  until 100 AM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Clusters of well-organized storms including bowing

segments will continue east-northeastward into parts of

west-central/north-central Indiana this evening. Damaging winds are

the primary concern, but isolated hail and/or a brief tornado could

also occur. Storms are likely to decrease in intensity into late

evening and early in the overnight.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30

statute miles north and south of a line from 35 miles east of

Lafayette IN to 40 miles southwest of Lafayette IN. For a complete
