The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Northern Iowa

  Parts of southwestern and southeastern Minnesota



* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 940 PM

  until 300 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2

    inches in diameter possible

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible



SUMMARY...Clusters of supercells in Minnesota will continue to move

toward the south-southeast overnight, with a continued threat for

large hail and damaging winds.  Some upscale growth of the storms

will be possible, which will tend to favor some increase in the

potential for damaging winds.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles north and south of a line from 5 miles north of

Spencer IA to 45 miles south of La Crosse WI. For a complete
