The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  West central Minnesota



* Effective this Wednesday morning from 100 AM until 600 AM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible



SUMMARY...Clusters of storms in southeast North Dakota and northeast

South Dakota will likely merge and continue spreading to the

east-southeast through the overnight hours.  The stronger storms

will remain capable of producing damaging winds, as well as isolated

large hail.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60

statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles south of Fargo

ND to 60 miles east southeast of Alexandria MN. For a complete
