The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of

  Southwest Arkansas

  Northern Louisiana

  Northeast Texas



* Effective this Thursday morning from Midnight until 500 AM CST.



* Primary threats include...

  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...A squall line will continue to race east-northeastward

overnight. Although the environment is not overly moist or unstable,

very strong low-level shear will support embedded bowing segments

capable of wind damage and possibly some tornado risk.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45

statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles northeast of

Texarkana AR to 25 miles south of Shreveport LA. For a complete
